Community of Practice - Sustainable management of soil (P3263)
This project will create a community of practice which will undertake a number of activities to support long term good practice in the sustainable management of soil.
 
Asset management of blue green infrastructure – guiding principles (P3219)
This project sets out to develop an asset management framework document for the efficient management of blue green infrastructure.
 
Containment systems for the prevention of pollution (P3212)
This project will gather industry feedback on CIRIA C736 and develop a supplemental guide to improve pollution prevention in industrial storage installations.
 
Update to C759 Livestock Manure and Silage Storage for Agriculture (P3300)
This guide will highlight best practice, lessons learned, and case studies to improve slurry storage standards and ensure long-term durability.
 
Rainwater Management Platform (P3305)
This project will update the current 2015 edition of the SuDS manual to incorporate learnings, drivers, and good practice from the past nine years.
 
Intrastructure tunnel management (P3217)
This guide will enable asset owners to have a trusted practical guide that can support technical and commercial decision making, especially upon increasing tunnel asset stocks and aging underground infrastructure.
 
Managing intellectual property for modern methods of construction (P3280)
This project will produce a practical guide in the management of and effective use of intellectual property in the design and production of products and modules suitable for use in the offsite manufacturing and MMC industry.
 
Redeveloping ‘challenging’ sites, a good practice guidance for landfills, tips and quarries (P3292)
This guide will provide up-to-date good practice guidance for landfills, tips and quarries using non-routine routes.
 
Microplastics in construction projects – what we know now and good practice guidance (P3283)
This project will deliver a good practice guide to help construction professionals manage the generation and spread of microplastics in different types of construction projects.
 
Community of Practice - Biodiversity (P3269)
This community of practice is a practitioners network focused on collaboration and sharing of knowledge to enhance and improve biodiversity across transport, utilities, housing & development.
 
Extreme climate incidents and contaminated land interest group (P3177)
The question is ‘Will extreme climate incidents have any impact on the way that we currently reuse brownfield sites particularly those that are contaminated?’
 
susdrain - the community for SuDS (P3301)
susdrain is an exciting community that provides up to date guidance, support case studies and photos as well as discussion forums and networking opportunities.
 
Piling good practice guidance (P3198)
CIRIA proposes to undertake research to produce a new suite of guides covering the techniques, plant and equipment and materials of today. The intention is to produce a second generation of these guides building on the success of the earlier guides.
 
Community of Practice - CIRIA Geospatial (P3252)
This CoP aims to increase focused collaboration and knowledge transfer aimed at improving the awareness of ongoing developments in the geospatial market.
 
Perfluoroalkyl and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS) Forum (P3282)
This project will produce the first UK comprehensive guidance on risk assessment and management of PFAS in soil and water.
 
Risk management guidance for EV, battery and charging infrastructure (P3287)
This project will deliver a good practice guidance document for the proactive management and mitigation of risks from EV and ancillary equipment.
 
Marine infrastructure effects – improving coastal biodiversity (CON246)
CIRIA is the network coordinator to help promote and raise awareness of this project in order to maximise its uptake and potential benefits and impact.
 
NERC Environmental Risks to Infrastructure Programme (ERIIP)
The Environmental Risks to Infrastructure Innovation Programme is a five-year, £5m initiative, which will be driven by the needs of the business community and decision-makers.
