PFAS are not a forever problem – so how can we do better?
Watch this virtual conference on the latest developments in managing the technical, financial and social risks related to PFAS in soil and water.

Background
There has been a lot of media coverage recently regarding the per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) family of contaminants.
The publication of CIRIA’s Good practice guidance: some per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances in soil and the water environment (C819) in November 2024 provided comprehensive practical guidance to UK practitioners for the first time regarding how to deal with PFAS on UK construction sites.

Managing PFAS is difficult because of their complex chemical and physical properties. This conference will explore how major clients are dealing with PFAS contaminated sites, and share the latest developments, analysis and remediation approaches for PFAS in soil and water. It will also explore insurance coverage considerations and what regulators expect from practitioners on these sites.
