Supporting local authorities fulfil contaminated land duties

This webinar explained the duties of Contaminated Land Officers (CLO)s including areas where they have lead responsibility, support other Council teams or give advice to members of the public. Expert speakers discussed the CLO’s regulatory role, how they provide advice, and the maintenance of registers, detailed records and archives on contaminated land matters. They also showed how CLOs, who are often the only technical specialist in their respective organisations, can develop their own knowledge and understanding.
