susdrain SuDS Awards 2024 winners' showcase
Since 2018, susdrain has been celebrating outstanding SuDS projects and recognising SuDS Champions who are instrumental in delivering exceptional SuDS. The Awards provide a platform to share the good practice, multi-beneficial SuDS, and recognise high-quality planning, design, construction and maintenance of sustainable drainage. The ‘overall winner’ Award was presented to the scheme which is most effectively delivering SuDS that provide multiple benefits.

During the awards ceremony, the shortlist showcased key elements of their schemes. This two-part webinar series provided a unique opportunity to get the inside track on the winning projects with in-depth case studies presented by the teams involved. Join us to learn more about their SuDS initiatives.
This second webinar showcased the following winning projects:
- Early housing scheme – not yet completed - Wellbank Park Self-build Housing
- Regeneration and retrofit – small scale (less than one hectare) - Wood Street, Cardiff Central Square
- Regeneration and retrofit – private properties - Community-Centric Rainwater Management
- New commercial development (any scale) - Lisvane and Llanishen Reservoirs’ Visitor Centre, Cardiff
