Mapping in construction: How mature are we?

An exploration into the geospatial state-of-play for the construction and built environment sector, supported by CIRIA Geospatial – our new Community of Practice.

Background
Experience the launch event of CIRIA’s newest Community of Practice, CIRIA Geospatial, where we will explore the geospatial readiness of industry from a range of perspectives.

Working with geospatial data is no new concept to the built environment and construction industry, with great steps being made to enhance the use of data and solutions in recent decades. However, in an ever-developing digital environment, there is an opportunity to collaborate and educate industry at a base level – providing people with information to encourage the usage of geospatial data, giving confidence to first-time or infrequent users.

Hear representatives across the sector discuss the maturity of industry by providing perspectives from geospatial service providers, end-user clients, and intermediary bodies.

A series of presentations followed by a Q&A and live debate session will allow attendees to engage with speakers to address key challenges faced by the construction sector surrounding the early adoption of geospatial solutions and a look into how to improve this moving forward.

Special offer
All attendees will qualify for a 20% discount off the following publications for a limited period. The promotional code will be communicated with the joining instructions pre-event.
