Blue roofs – a guide to implementation – new CIRIA guidance
Join this webinar which will launch our latest publication Blue roofs – a guide to implementation (C817D) to learn about the delivery of multiple benefits and improve your confidence in the specification, design and delivery of blue roofs.
Background
A blue roof provides the attenuation and management of rainfall at its source. They are becoming a common approach to deliver SuDS and manage local flood risk, particularly in dense urban environments where space is at a premium. Despite their popularity there is a lack of high quality, independent guidance on their planning, design, construction, evaluation and maintenance.
CIRIA's new publication will provide guidance on designing, installing and maintaining blue roofs, and covers how to minimise and manage the potential risks involved with purposefully managing water on the roof of a building.
Attendees will hear first hand from the authors of CIRIA's new guidance and practical case studies will give professionals the competence and confidence to cost effectively deliver and assess blue roofs.
Special offer
All attendees will qualify from a 20% discount off Blue roofs – a guide to implementation (C817D) for a limited period. The promotional code will be communicated with the joining instructions pre-event.
