European Protected Species Policy (P3164)

The new European Protected Species Policy Framework provides an opportunity for ecologists and their clients to deliver innovative solutions that maximise ecological benefit while also presenting clients with benefits in terms of time frames and costs.

This project will review experience and lessons learned from the application of the different licencing approaches presented by the new European Protected Species Regulations. The project will gather evidence on successful innovative implementation of these approaches. A set of case studies will be published illustrating the lessons learned in terms of the suitability of these licencing approaches to different types of projects and environment.
