We’re hosting a virtual conference on the future of soil management in construction
On Thursday 23 October 2025, we’ll be bringing industry leaders together to explore how new government policies are changing the way soil is managed in construction.
Our half-day online conference, The Future of Sustainable Soil Management in Construction, will look at the challenges and opportunities facing the sector as planning reform, biodiversity net gain and brownfield redevelopment regulations come into play.
We’ve invited speakers from the Office for Environmental Protection, Cornwall Council, Westbury Environmental, Berkeley Group’s St James St William, and consultancy E3P. Together, we’ll be covering the government’s Environmental Improvement Plan, Cornwall’s sustainable soils journey, practical issues on site, and how soil can support biodiversity and climate resilience.
The event runs from 10:00–13:00 and is designed for clients, developers, consultants, contractors, landowners, local authorities, regulators and specialists in soil, SuDS, landscape and biodiversity.
Everyone who joins us will also qualify for a 20% discount on our industry guidance Sustainable management of surplus soil and aggregates from construction (C809).
