Introducing new member Department for Transport (DfT)

We are delighted to introduce our newest member Department for Transport (DfT). DfT collaborates with its agencies and partners to bolster the transport network, facilitating the movement of people and goods across the UK. The department strategically plans and allocates investments in transport infrastructure to ensure the continuous flow of activity across the country.

Upon joining Peter Browne, Head of Infrastructure Efficiency and Productivity Policy, Department for Transport commented "Looking ahead, we are keen to exploit opportunities to apply new innovations and technologies within transport and infrastructure delivery that will deliver better outcomes for the economy, the environment, and society.  This will require a strong focus on digital and data capability and making better use of Modern Methods of Construction. We are pleased to work in close collaboration with CIRIA and BUILDOFFSITE to help unlock this policy space so that we can increase the value for money delivered to taxpayers."
