Green-tech helps Bradford Council create a network of rain gardens to reduce flooding

It’s great to read how Bradford Council's sustainable landscaping project at the 'Top of Town' has been making waves. Thanks to funding from the National Lottery Heritage Fund and the European Regional Development Fund, the project aims to enhance the city's environment and promote community well-being. 

Our 2023 susdrain SuDS Champions Awards Rising Star, Andrew Mindham, Project Landscape Architect, played a pivotal role in guiding the project's vision. Under his leadership, the project embraced sustainable practices in line with CIRIA's SuDS Manual (C753) setting a high standard for urban development initiatives. The 2024 susdrain SuDS Awards are currently open for entry, so be sure to enter by 19 April.
