Discover the winners of the Biodiversity Challenge Awards 2025!

 

We’re delighted to celebrate the winners and those highly commended in the Biodiversity Challenge Awards 2025, announced at our inspiring ceremony at the WWT London Wetland Centre on 24 September.

With over 70 entries across 10 categories, fierce competition in each, and 80+ guests attending the ceremony, the Biodiversity Challenge Awards 2025 celebrated the very best in biodiversity innovation and brought people together to recognise outstanding projects and individuals advancing biodiversity.

Speaking at the ceremony Richard Thomas, Group ESG Director, Trustgreen and chair of the judging panel stated: “The Biodiversity Challenge continues to raise the bar for our industry, proving that when we think boldly and act collectively, we can deliver real, lasting benefits for wildlife and people. The 2025 winners are a shining example of what’s possible.”

Their achievements demonstrate how biodiversity can shape places, protect ecosystems, and bring people closer to nature.

These awards are made possible by the CIRIA Biodiversity Community of Practice which brings together industry experts from transport, utilities, housing, and development to share knowledge, collaborate, and develop practical guidance for delivering lasting biodiversity benefits.
