Following this course, learners will:
· Identify the relevant UK regulators, and their technical and geographical remit.
· Gain detailed knowledge of the environmental legislation relevant to resource management and waste management on construction sites, and the practical interpretation of the this legislation.
· Gain an overview of the key resource and waste management issues as each of the relevant project stages, and a good understanding of the relevant issues and opportunities at construction phases.
· The ability to correctly identify site hazards and risks associated with resource and waste management, and select the most appropriate management controls.

Learner entry requirements
Learners must have several years environmental management experience in the construction sector, or should have attended CIRIA’s IEMA approved Environmental good practice on site classroom based training (Foundation Level 1)
