The BIG Biodiversity Challenge and Awards launch 2017

Now in its 4th year, the BIG Biodiversity Challenge celebrates biodiversity enhancements that have been initiated and carried out by the construction industry. In what is rapidly becoming an annual highlight in the construction industry’s calendar, the BIG Biodiversity Challenge invites those involved in planning, design and construction to 'Do One Thing' by adding just one new biodiversity enhancement to a building site, development or existing structure.

On Tuesday 28 February CIRIA launched the 2017 BIG Biodiversity Challenge and Awards with an event held at their offices in London. This event showcased some of the winning projects from the 2016 awards and provided an insight into what to expect this year. This event was chaired by Cliff Smith, Business Improvement Manager at Sir Robert McAlpine. (CIRIA members and BIG Biodiversity Champion award sponsors of the 2017 awards)
