Background
Land contamination continues to be a major problem in construction projects in the UK. With Government reforms supporting the regeneration of brownfield sites across towns and cities, effective land remediation is an important component to many projects.
The UK has over 30 years’ experience dealing with contaminants. This event will explore current practices in risk management for persistent and emerging contaminants in soil and ground water. Industry experts will discuss the potential adverse human and ecological impacts and how these risks should be managed.
