Introduction to Environmental good practice on site

This webinar introduces CIRIA's IEMA approved one day Environmental good practice on site training course, providing an overview of the course and the issues surrounding environmental management on site.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

Background
Environmental impacts will arise with any construction project irrespective of the location, size or nature of the development. They have the potential to affect immediate neighbours and the natural and built environment. Impacts can take many forms including noise or pollution and can affect surrounding flora and fauna. Good environmental practice enables these issues to be managed positively.

Preventing impacts or minimising the risk of potential impacts is increasingly becoming the responsibility of site-based staff. More accountability at site level demands higher standards of environmental awareness and education by all site staff. Environmental issues can be managed effectively with the speed and urgency that is often required by training and deploying experienced staff.
