CIC present Government with Offsite Housing Review, Feb 2013

The final report of the Offsite Housing Review Group was presented to Government on 28 February. This Report was commissioned by Ministers at the Department for Business and the Department for Communities and Local Government. Buildoffsite non-Exec Directors: Prof Nick Whitehouse and Prof John Miles jointly chaired the Review Panel with Ian Pannell undertaking project co-ordination.

The report provides analysis of house-building in England, the challenge of building sufficient numbers of new homes, the opportunities for the increased use of offsite solutions and the actions that need to be taken by Government to stimulate the market.

Government will now be moving quickly to establish an implementation group to progress the recommendations set out in the Report.
