Geotechnical baseline reports - a guide to good practice

Join us for the launch of CIRIA’s new, highly anticipated publication, Geotechnical baseline reports - a guide to good practice (C807).

Background
Geotechnical baseline reports (GBRs) provide a mechanism for developing equitable contracting arrangements between clients and contractor when dealing with the uncertainty in ground conditions encountered during the delivery of capital projects.

CIRIA, alongside international experts from Mott MacDonald and Geotechnical Consulting Group, has developed a guide to producing GBRs (C807). Order your copy now before the pre-release offer expires on 27 January 2023.

The event will outline the context and need for GBRs and why and how CIRIA has worked to develop this guidance. The author team will outline they principal features of the guide, drawing upon their extensive international experience. Case studies to illustrate how and why GBRs are useful will be provided.
