BIG Biodiversity Challenge 2022: hints and tips for success

The BIG Biodiversity Challenge and Awards 2022 is open for entries. This webinar will showcase award-winning projects and provide valuable hints and tips to anyone considering entering.

Background
The BIG Biodiversity Challenge and Awards celebrate the contributions of the construction industry towards biodiversity. The challenge to ‘Do One Thing’ invites the industry to add at least one new biodiversity enhancement – big or small – to a building site, development, or existing structure.

Join us at this webinar to hear first-hand from a member of the 2021 Judging Panel some useful hints and tips on what the judges expect and the common pitfalls to avoid. The webinar will also feature from some of our 2021 winners as they provide an overview of their award-winning projects.

The BIG Biodiversity Challenge and Awards 2022 is open for entries. Click here for more information about the Challenge, categories and how to enter. The submission deadline is 16:00 on 10 June 2022.

Biodiversity Interest Group Community of Practice
This year’s BIG Biodiversity Challenge and Awards are steered by the newly created Biodiversity Interest Group Community of Practice (CoP), focused on growing support for the implementation of Biodiversity Net Gain principles within our industry. This new CoP will foster collaboration and knowledge transfer to assist the management of biodiversity across transport, utilities, housing and development sectors. This network of academia, private and public entities will provide the thought leadership which could lead to key guidance resources for the built environment. For more information and to get involved in the Biodiversity Interest Group CoP, please contact Adrien Baudrimont.
