Sustainable surplus soil management in construction

This webinar will share good practices for managing surplus soil from construction projects. Gain a deeper understanding of the Environment Agency's policy on surplus soil management and how to implement and comply with the regulations.

Registration for this event is now closed

Background
Brownfield and other construction projects generate large amounts of surplus soil. Implementing good soil management practices is important but not without challenges. Complexities arise when determining what constitutes waste; how to classify waste; the safe handling, storing and disposing of waste; and complying with legislation.

This event will explore the key issues implementing good surplus soil management practices and provide an update on CIRIA’s new project ‘Sustainable management of surplus soil and aggregates’.
