Part 1: Policy and the legal framework
Land contamination is an issue affecting the UK and China alike. Having experienced a decade of meteoric growth in GDP, China has seen an increase in land for development. Like the UK, China has a legacy of land contamination resulting from industrial and commercial activities. Nowadays, many developers in China are seeking to deploy cost-effective and sustainable practice following stricter legislation and increased awareness of environmental issues.

This webinar will explore the legal and policy framework in China and the UK, and how this has defined the way contaminated land is managed. It will also shine a spotlight on the issues and opportunities you need to be aware of when operating in these two countries.
