Verification of ground gas protection, what you need to know

This webinar gives an overview of how to verify membrane and other ground gas protection systems for contaminated sites. It is particularly useful for local authorities or other organisations who supervise such work.

REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED

Background
Hazardous ground gases can cause serious problems to residential, industrial and commercial developments. Verification of ground gas protection systems is important part of managing these gases.

Although CIRIA report C735 Good practice on the testing and verification of protection systems for buildings against hazardous ground gases was published almost 5 years ago, there are still cases such systems were not installed or managed properly. There is now an L4 NVQ Diploma in Verification of Ground Gas Protection System.

However many professionals such as local authorities who supervise the verification  process and/or the integrity tests are not sure what to expect and how this could be done effectively and not affected by other site activities
