Getting support on SuDS delivery
This webinar covers some of the fundamental principles of SuDS delivery from the perspective of CIRIA’s SuDS trainers. The presentations from nationally recognised SuDS experts with detailed geotechnical, civil engineering and landscape architecture knowledge will cover some of the principles and opportunities for SuDS delivery. There will also be an opportunity to ask our trainers your SuDS queries and understand what support on good practice is available to support delivery of high-quality SuDS.

Background
Sustainable drainage systems (SuDS) make a vital contribution to managing local flood risk and water quality as well as providing opportunities for biodiversity enhancement and improving our places and spaces. Over the last year or so we have seen significant changes in regulations with Wales implementing Schedule 3 and water companies now able to adopt SuDS that can be defined as sewers and that conform to Water UK’s Design Construction Guidance.
Our trainers have been involved in the delivery of hundreds of SuDS schemes for various clients in a variety of different context. They have also delivered SuDS training In Wales and for water companies. Over time our knowledge and experience has improved and it’s important that this good practice is shared to promote improved understanding and the delivery of high-quality SuDS.
