Background
In recent years a number infrastructure asset management industry guidance documents have been produced by CIRIA. Written in collaboration with industry, this suite of guidance includes: Whole-life infrastructure asset management: good practice guidance for civil infrastructure (C677), Intelligent monitoring of concrete structures (C661), Control of cracking caused by restrained deformation in concrete (C766), Design for Fibre Reinforced Polymer Bridges (C779), Hidden defects in bridges: Guidance for detection and maintenance (C764) and various conditional appraisal and remedial treatment guidance documents. In addition, further industry guidance is currently being prepared on Structural health monitoring (SHM) systems for civil infrastructure (RP1066) and Deterioration and degradation modelling of infrastructure assets (RP1047).
In partnership with Concrete Repairs Ltd this conference will explore some of the latest updates and approaches to infrastructure asset management.
