This event will bring together clients and their designers/contractors to discuss their experience of collaboration.

Background
The release of ‘Construction 2025, Industrial Strategy: government and industry in partnership’, offers a strategic vision for the UK construction industry and has highlighted the value and importance of collaborative working as key to sustainable and long term growth.

This seminar, held jointly with CIRIA and the ECI, brings together clients, designers and contractors to discuss their experience of collaboration. An overview of good practice in collaborative working in construction and will include presentations from organisations who have achieved BS11000 accreditation, together with examples of how innovations in the procurement process can aid the collaborative process.

The benefits of working in accordance with the new British Standard (BS11000) on Collaborative Working Relationships will be demonstrated as well as the opportunities presented through different techniques, technologies and collaborative contracts in driving business improvement and smarter working practices. 

Who Should Attend?
Attendance at the event is open to all however places will be limited and preference will be given to CIRIA Core, Associate and Network members and European Construction Institute members.
