Working with natural processes: The evidence behind natural flood management
This conference will launch the Environment Agency’s ‘Working with Natural Processes Evidence Base’ which has been developed to help flood and coastal erosion risk management (FCERM) authorities understand, justify, develop and implement FCERM schemes with WWNP to reduce flood risk.  It will also include presentations from a range of existing projects that have successfully implemented NFM measures on the ground, through effective partnerships, whilst drawing on a range of funding streams. CIRIA is pleased to support this event and the event will be taking place on both the 31 October in London and 6 December in Leeds.

Flood & Coast 2018 - Risk, resilience & response in a changing climate

CIRIA and susdrain are pleased to support this event which will once again advance the debate about flood and coast erosion risk, resilience and response between government bodies and local authorities with business, major infrastructure and asset managers, as well as affected communities. Embracing the concept of “a changing climate” the event draws on expertise and experience from different geographies – not only within the UK. Flood & Coast 2018 will take place on 20-22 March 2018 at the Telford International Centre, Telford.
