CIRIA seeks industry involvement for Biodiversity Net Gain project

This new collaborative project with CIEEM and IEMA will deliver new guidance to help professionals and the UK industry to address the challenge of leaving Biodiversity in a better state than before and to achieve Net Gain targets for biodiversity.

An important part of delivering good practice in Biodiversity Net Gain is to know what it looks like. A group of professionals from each member organisation has worked to develop good practice principles to guide developers.  The initial draft principles were refined following consultation with various stakeholders including government, NGOs and also from testing through workshops and webinars with over 450 professionals. Our principles for achieving Biodiversity Net Gain are now published.

The project partners are seeking support for development and delivery of new guidance on biodiversity net gain in development. Find out more....
