New appointment for CIRIA Executive Board

   
     
 

CIRIA is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Dean, Principal  Engineer at Network Rail, as a new non-executive Director of its Executive Board.

Rob, who is a Chartered Civil Engineer, Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and Principal Engineer within Network Rail’s Safety, Technical and Engineering team, currently supports the development of long term asset management strategies, research, technology and innovation, future competency requirements and assurance related to Network Rail’s structures assets. Rob also sits on the UK Bridges Board, Bridge Owners Forum and CIRIA’s National Infrastructure Clients Leadership Group.

With over 15 years’ experience in the design and management of structures assets through his work with consultants, contractors and client organisations, CIRIA will draw on Rob’s expertise to support future research growth and help inform our industry wide approach to major infrastructure asset owners and their needs.
