Green Construction Board seeks industry views

The Green Construction Board is inviting you to share views and comments on the opportunities and challenges for the  adoption of low carbon concrete technologies throughout the construction industry.

The Green Construction Board’s Low Carbon Concrete Group  (LCCG) was established in January 2020 and is made up of more than 18 organisations working together on developing a Roadmap for adoption by the industry to assist clients and the wider construction sector in reducing the carbon impact of construction activities.  Low carbon concretes do not just refer to Alkali Activated Cementitious Materials and Geopolymers, they also include traditional Portland Cement concretes (with a lower OPC clinker content), as well as those utilising Belite-Ye-elimite-Ferrite (BYF), calcium sulfoaluminate (CSA) and Magnesia based cements.

Your responses to the survey will assist the working group in collecting valuable data in which they can design and publish a Route map for adoption to low carbon concrete technologies throughout the construction industry.
The survey will take no more than 4 minutes to complete.

The deadline to share your views is 14 September 2020.
