First UK app - Asbestos Site Aid for site workers

The app will guide workers through the process to follow when dealing with suspected asbestos on site, and provide good practice guidance and advice on the steps to take when suspected asbestos is found (expected and unexpectedly), all from a smart phone.

The project was led by a team of leading industry experts and asbestos specialists and looks to address current issues surrounding the lack of accessibility to guidance for site workers. The app complements CIRIA’s existing suite of publications and other activities which promote good practice for managing asbestos from soil.
