CIRIA completes first phase of B£ST updates

The first phase of updating B£ST, our Benefits Estimation Tool – for valuing blue-green infrastructure completed. 

We have updated the values, benefit categories which now includes Natural Flood Management. Along with these updates we have made B£ST easier to use and include the ability to make quicker, but coarser estimates.

The next stage of the work is to update B£ST to provide Natural Capital accounting functionality. 

If you have an interest in the valuation of blue-green infrastructure and know about Natural Capital accounting, we would appreciate your input in a survey. 

The survey captures views on what approaches to Natural Capital accounting your organisation either uses or is considering using; we would be interested in thoughts on potential accounting approaches.
