CIRIA Board strengthened by appointment of Sir Robert McAlpine Director Boyd McFee

CIRIA is pleased to welcome Boyd McFee, Sir Robert McAlpine, as non-executive Director of its Executive Board.   Boyd McFee is Director of Engineering & Technical Services at leading UK building and civil engineering company Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd.   A chartered civil engineer with more than 35 years’ experience, Boyd has been involved in numerous high-profile projects, and in recent years has been at the centre of reshaping the business to ensure it maintains its position at the forefront of today’s technology-driven construction industry.  Boyd’s current role encompasses responsibility for the company’s in-house Design Group and Plant Departments as well as for Health, Safety & Well-being, Sustainability, Quality, Engineering Excellence, Innovation and a number of operational activities.
