Recent flood events and the devasting impact it has had within the built environment highlight the need for improved policy and planning with regard to new development.
This seminar will clarify changes to the recently updated PPS25 Development and flood risk and focus on the challenges and opportunites for delivering PPS25. This should be of particular interest to professionals such as planners, flood risk managers, drainage engineers, developers, consultants, utility companies, sewage undertakers and the insurance industry.
The key speakers will include:

SUDS Online @ Abertay is delivered twice a year by Professor Chris Jefferies to drainage designers and planners who require an in-depth understanding of the principles of SUDS and their planning and implementation. Students will develop SUDS strategies and acquire the knowledge to design component parts of SUDS systems. The course has been accredited by CIWEM.

A brand new programmer of workshops starts in October with the launch of WinDes W.10. The focus is on the essentials – issues like the design of foul sewer systems for today’s high density developments.
