Deliver SUDS, manage floods
The Flood and Water Management Act has highlighted the role that Sustainable Drainage Systems (SUDS) can make in managing local flood risk with proposals to make SUDS a requirement in new developments. CIRIA's established training programme and published SUDS guidance aims to equip professionals with the basics needed for those new to this natural approach to drainage and provide detailed design principles to those involved in delivery.
CIRIA is regarded as one of the foremost authorities on sustainable drainage and providing guidance and training. Its high quality face-to-face training courses on the fundamentals and design principles of SUDS are delivered by nationally recognised experts using a number of showcase examples.
