The objective of this project is to provide guidance that will be an easy-to-use resource that explores the planning, design, construction and maintenance issues surrounding the incorporation of green roofs, green walls and associated features in buildings. Particular attention will be given to how these features can benefit the built environment by enhancing biodiversity, sustainable drainage and thermal efficiency.
Guidance was published spring 2007. Click here to order a copy of Building greener. Guidance on the use of green roofs, green walls and complementary features on buildings (C644)
