CIRIA has announced a new in-house service aimed at helping professionals boost their knowledge and skills, with a range of quick-fire sustainability related courses, delivered either at lunchtime or over the course of a morning.
This service offers those with a busy schedule the chance to gain CPD points and keep up-to-date with industry developments from the convenience of their own offices.
The lunchtime sesions will be made up of three modules - each lasting 20 minutes - which will provide an introduction to the subject, key guidance and legislation, key issues and management.
The talk will finish with some essential ‘rules of thumb’ and a list of references for further reading including CIRIA courses and books in the area, included in a one page handout.
These short talks will be interactive and can be customised to include your organisation's own procedures and management practices. The modules can be chosen in sets of 3 for a lunchtime presentation or 6 for a half day session.
