Launch
success for new drainage and flood risk networkThe first Local Authority Network on Drainage and Flood Risk Management (LANDFoRM) event, Delivering sustainable drainage on the ground (sponsored by Interpave and The Concrete Centre), took place at the Royal Academy of Engineering on 20 September 2007.
The event looked at how Oxfordshire County Council has championed SUDS through a multi-disciplinary approach to implementation as well as a proactive approach to overcoming the thorny issue of adoption.
Over 100 representatives from local, central and government agencies, consultants, academics and industry practitioners registered for this event, which included a lively debate and Q&A session. Proceedings from the workshop are now available to download.
DownloadThis document includes proceeding from the event, key learning points, an introduction to LANDFoRM, transcripts from the speakers, a report of the questions and answers session and concluding remarks from the chairman. |
