20 November 2008, Exeter
Under the various current contaminated land regulatory regimes, different parties involved in the management of purchasing, redeveloping, insuring and remediation of contaminated land all have varying levels of knowledge, responsibilities and expectations for how the process should be completed. The UK framework for managing contaminated land is similarly varied depending on the stakeholder role or financial, liability and regulatory driver. The variation in operational, regulatory and stakeholder expectations is often one of the most difficult aspects to manage when implementing a contaminated land project.
This workshop is designed for local authorities and other construction professionals
involved in
contaminated land project management. It will comprise of a series of presentations
that will take delegates through the contaminated land project management
process and give delegates the opportunity to apply knowledge gained through
a short group exercise.
