Since 1960, CIRIA and its members have been working together to improve the performance of all involved in construction and the environment.
CIRIA’s work deals with all stages of construction: planning, procurement,
design, construction, operation and maintenance, refurbishment, and demolition.
Our activities include collaborative projects, development and publication
of best practice guidance, formal networks, facilitation, conferences, workshops
and training. Core membership of CIRIA gives you access to all these services
and activities – and the opportunity to influence them.
Working within organisations, between organisations and across entire sectors of industry, CIRIA’s collaborative research and information activities cover five main areas:
We appoint contractors to carry out the detailed technical aspects of most of our activities. This means we can be flexible in responding to your needs. If you have the right technical skills and knowledge, as a Core member you have priority when these contracts are let.
