Taking part in project steering groups

CIRIA’s guidance is produced in a consultative and collaborative manner.
An expert team is appointed to undertake the work for CIRIA, and a Project Steering Group is formed to guide the work.

Steering group members are appointed on the basis of their knowledge of the topic, as representatives of the various stakeholder groups involved (regulators, clients, suppliers etc.) or as end-users of the project output.

Core Member companies can express an interest in taking part in our Steering Groups.

Core Members are also given preference when we appoint organisations to write our guides.

CIRIA also run a number of special interest groups which Members are invited to join.
