Description: This report describes a series of field and laboratory-scale trials for the remediation of chromium contamination. These relate to several sites in south-east Glasgow. The trials include chemical, physico-chemical and microbiological techniques. The report outlines the objectives and methodologies for each of these trials, discusses the results obtained, and evaluates their overall effectiveness in the treatment of soil, surface water and groundwater contamination by chromium.
