Description: This workshop looked at current policy and ways of designing, adapting and funding coastal management work to achieve multiple stakeholder benefits. Presentations covered recent scoping
work by CIRIA looking at updating the Beach Management Manual and investigating the potential of
multi-functional artificial reefs (by incorporating habitat and amenity benefits into detached
breakwaters).
