Description: The Welsh Assembly Government has developed policies that encourage public sector clients to embark on procurement strategies that will ensure better value for money and help to regenerate the construction industry in Wales by offering opportunities to SMEs. The workshop heard the background to this development and two local contractors shared their experience of the process.
