Description: This workshop explored the role potentially to be played by rainwater harvesting in addressing the medium to long-term water supply situation in the UK.
Following an EA overview of current water supply/resource issues, the presentations explained how modern rainwater harvesting systems work, their impact from a developer’s viewpoint, and their measured performance in UK service.
They also compared and contrasted the UK with international market experience, whilst assessing associated water quality and health issues.
