Existing technical guidance in the UK largely focuses on the investigation and assessment of land affected by contamination. There is also guidance on different remediation techniques, but guidance focused on how to verify the success of the remediation is not as readily available. Documenting remediation works in a robust verification report is critical to providing confidence to all stakeholders that the risks have been adequately managed.
This workshop will provide attendees with detailed guidance on the content of remediation verification reports and the sort of data that should be expected for remediation projects. Using case studies, we will explore approaches to verification reporting, and look to improve confidence for those compiling and/or reviewing the reports.
