CIRIA announces infrastructure resilience events series

CIRIA is delighted to announce a new event and content series focused on infrastructure resilience.

The new series, collaboratively developed with members, will explore and discuss common issues and challenges surrounding infrastructure resilience and will comprise a number of events, workshops and learning resources. Designed to provide insight as well as practical solutions, the programme will cover methods of assessing and planning, finding common approaches to definitions and terminology; infrastructure interdependencies on practice; long-term strategies and whole-life management and building the business case for resilience.

The series, which will run over the next year and be informed by outputs and discussions which take place along the way, is led and advised by a steering group of CIRIA members (who make up the Infrastructure and Resilience Focus Group) representing Gatwick Airport, Network Rail, Highways England, CH2M, Black & Veatch, HR Wallingford, Arup and Temple Group.
