Contractor opportunity: Sustainable management of surplus soils and aggregates

Managing soil arising and waste generated by brownfield and other types of construction projects is an important and sometimes difficult issue with added complexities of deciding “when is waste not waste”.  The surplus soil often requires disposal, and the intricacies of classifying waste, frequently heterogeneous in nature, are often baffling to the non-expert.

We are seeking expressions of interest from research teams and authors that would like to competitively tender to deliver the technical work on how to manage surplus soil including classify, safely handle, store and dispose of waste soil to comply with relevant legal obligations as part of the sustainable management of waste soils and aggregates project.
