Background
The UK will host the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26) in November, when 195 nations are expected to report back on The Paris Agreement which required signatories to commit to limiting global warming to below 2 ºC above pre-industrial levels.

Not only are nations accountable, but so are industry leaders. Construction accounts for 30% of carbon emissions in the UK. How will the sector play its part and reduce its emissions by 68% below 1990 levels in the next decade to meet the UK’s ambitious new climate target?

In this Annual Debate, leading industry experts will discuss how the built environment sector is rising to the challenge and how cities across the UK are seizing opportunities to achieve net zero.
