Working together to deliver SuDS
This susdrain event will discuss how securing SuDS is reliant on establishing good relationships, whether it be between Lead Local Flood Authority, their planning colleagues or developers and their consultants. Our presenters will share experiences and information on how they work together to secure SuDS.
PLEASE NOTE THIS EVENT IS FULLY BOOKED
Background
Good practice amongst England remains patchy, there is no consistent approach with many LLFAs doing what they can to secure good SuDS outcomes. SuDS champions and effective relationships remain important in the delivery of good quality SuDS.
This susdrain event will present the opportunities and challenges being faced when delivering good practice SuDS in different parts of the country. The seminar will also highlight the value of good policy and effective collaboration within local government and between developers and their consultants. Presentations will be provided by those working in local authorities, consultants and developers.
Why attend?
The speakers have a wealth of experience and have been involved in planning, managing local flood risk and delivering SuDS for a number of years. The objectives of this seminar are to:
- Provide an overview of aspirations and requirements of local government
- Explain how different local authorities collaborate internally and externally
- Share examples of SuDS delivery and provide a candid overview of outcomes in terms of successes and lesson learned.
