Crossrail's Approach to Carbon Management
This is the ninth in a series of Crossrail Learning Legacy webinars focused on the Environment Theme.
Background
A spreadsheet based tool was developed to measure the overall carbon footprint through Scope 1,2,3 in construction and also over 120 years of operation. A further tool was developed to forecast and monitor the ongoing construction carbon footprint (Scopes 1 &2) to enable the project to determine if it was on target to achieve its construction carbon target reduction.
This webinar will present an introduction to the use of the tool and its effectiveness. It could be of interest to project managers, contractors and consultant carbon managers who need an optioneering tool to predict construction carbon emissions and management interventions to reduce carbon emissions.
