Introduction
Construction activities will always have an impact on the surrounding environment and neighbours. Good environmental practice ensures that these impacts (such as water, air and noise pollution) are managed positively. Clients, their professional advisors, contractors and the whole construction supply chain all have responsibilities for environmental management.

As environmental legislation continues to change and good practice evolves, training on environmental issues has become a must-have for all construction professionals, regardless of their level of experience.

This CIRIA IEMA approved training course will help you to understand the implications of updated environmental legislation and how the application of good practice will potentially save time, money, adverse publicity and the possibility of litigation. The UK Contractors Groups (UKCG) has successfully mapped this course against the Site Environmental Awareness Training Scheme (SEATS), and is hence recognised as an equivalent course under the UKCG standard.
